Have you tried these tricks that help your perfume last longer?
Your scent says a lot about you and smelling good always makes you feel better about yourself. One of the major issues we all have is how to make our perfumes last longer. No matter how much companies say their perfume provides a strong, long-lasting scent, our experience has shown that isn’t always the case.
“The problem of fragrances not lasting long affects the majority of us, especially those who sweat a lot,” says Ajit Dalmia, CEO of Kelyn Naturals, who provided a list of strategies to make your fragrance last longer. .
Apply right after shower
The durability of a perfume depends on how and when it was applied. After a shower, your pores are open and your body is ready to absorb the smell of cologne. For best results, it is recommended to use perfume right after showering and pat dry.
Apply the perfume to hydrated skin
Before applying perfume, make sure your skin is sufficiently hydrated. Moisturizing your skin before using the perfume locks in the perfume better.

Apply to your pulse points
Applying perfume to pulse points is highly recommended as perfume reacts to heat. Apply perfume to your wrists, neck, inside of your elbows, or the back of your knees.
Don’t rub perfume
When you apply perfume to your wrists, rubbing them together breaks down the chemicals and causes the top notes to break down that they otherwise wouldn’t have. Rubbing makes the top notes of the perfume disappear faster than usual. Simply dab onto your skin if you have a roll-on scent.
Apply a small amount of Vaseline to pulse points before applying perfume
Rub a small amount of Vaseline on your pulse points to make your scent last longer. The Vaseline will act as an extra moisture lock for the scent, helping it last longer.
